I took my Buick in for a transmission diagnostic last week for a 2nd opinion. Mind you, another company had just rebuilt the transmission in Jan. '24, & they couldn't find any issues with it when I took it to them this time around. Called AAMCO on Monday & spoke with Tom. He was very professional and let me know I could drop my car off at my earliest convenience. Tom was able to diagnose the problem that the other company wasn't able to detect. He understood my current situation & there was no pressure from him whatsoever. I wish I had taken the car to him sooner! Heck, I wish AAMCO had been the ones to do the work the first time! I will never take my 2004 Dodge Ram anywhere else! These guys were great. I took my truck in with a long list of things to look at and listen for. They diagnosed everything and kept me in the loop for pricing and repairs. With everything I had done, I was surprised when it all came in for what I had budgeted, never once did I feel taken advantage of. Thank you Cary for getting the cold air blowing once again, thank you to both Mike and Cary for keeping me up to date with what was happening and a big shout out and thanks to mechanic Keith for busting your knuckles for over a week getting it back in tip top shape! Very professional and customer oriented shop! I brought my car in to get a diagnostic on my transmission , I was told that I needed a new one or a rebuilt one. I was sure that I had 3rd party vehicle warranty on my car come to find out it did not . Tony the owner not only did not charge me the $200 diagnostic that I was supposed to pay he also said that when I start searching for my new car to just bring it in to him before I purchase it! He was compassionate and honest and I would recommend anyone who is having transmission problems to bring your car to them .
